Last night I had the pleasure of trying Left Hand’s Ambidextrous (oak-aged milk stout) on draft (the only barrel in Ohio). The first thing I noticed about it was the higher ABV and slight hints of oak…that’s where it ended. Not to say I did not enjoy this beer but the difference between the standard and oak-aged where not enough to really catch my attention. I wonder if I am the only one who thinks this or has anyone else tried this with a slight disappointment in mind?
