Ohio Brew Week: Day 1

I would say we started off the week well having tried 12 beers by the end of the night. One of the most interesting stops of the night was the Spicebush Festival which revolved around a native Ohio plant the spicebush. Very intriguing ingredient, it’s rather like peppercorn but a bit sweeter/less bitty.

We were able to knock out most of the Cellar Rats Brewing, Ohio Brewing Co, and Rivertown Brewing Co beers after a few bars. These were all Breweries I was familiar with but had only tasted a handful of beers from. No worries though, there are still many beers left to try.

It’s about time to head out for a Beer pairing brunch and start day two!  Cheers!
