The #DIF – Dublin Irish Festival

Blah blah blah, I’m writing about this late. The #dif – Dublin Irish Festival.

It’s the other time of the year where everyone is Irish! And it’s okay for men to wear kilts in public!

Unfortunately, I was unable to take many photos of this awesome people watching event. Oddly enough, even searching on the tags of #DIF and #DublinIrishFestival failed to produce results of what I saw there–drunk old men in kilts, a shit ton of utilitkilts, and kids wearing too long boxers under their kilts.

Alas, my Friday night date canceled, so I drug my boys along Saturday to experience the festival–and was able to confirm that they have Guinness, FINALLY! This was Ryan’s decision to boycott in previous years, because he’s a whiny purist. Alas, he failed to even make an appearance.

But why am I writing about this now?

For next year: TASTINGS!

This was something I came across this year. How I missed this before? I’ll blame… someone else. Alas, the only content I can find merely says:

Geoff Randolph, an import and craft beer specialist with Superior Beverage Group, will lead beer tasting sessions for guests to learn more about the brewing process. In addition, Randolph will explain the difference between wheat, stout and pilsner beers using a certified method which includes appearance, aroma, taste, mouth feel and finish of the beer.

BUT WHAT BEERS DID THEY HAVE ON TAP?

Prost,

-Keith
